Part-Time Laundry Aide/Housekeeping in Saint Paul, Minnesota at Lyngblomsten

Lyngblomsten has a new opening for a part-time hybrid Laundry Aide/Housekeeping position at our Assisted Living, The Heritage. The schedule of this position is Monday and Thursday, 8:00am-1:00pm.

The posted pay range of this hourly position is $16 to $18. The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.

Responsibilities:

• Care for and deliver resident clothing in a professional manner. Sort clothing, iron, steam, fold
• Clean linen and clothing
• Fold linen
• Deliver clean linen to appropriate areas
• Operate laundry machinery
• Wide range general cleaning of common areas
• Resident room cleaning
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Requires bending, standing, stooping, pushing, pulling and reaching above shoulder level.

Qualifications:

• Positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• No prior experience necessary- training will be provided
• Must be able to read and understand English
