Job Summary:

The Medical Receptionist will greet patients, schedule follow up appointments, and provide administrative support.

Supervisory Responsibilities: NA

Location: Des Moines

Non-Exempt/Hourly Essential Functions:

• Greet and welcome patients in a friendly manner

• Always maintain a high standard for HIPAA regulations

• Schedule follow-up appointments

• Answer incoming calls and route them appropriately

• Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.

• Perform clerical tasks efficiently and effectively

• Ensures availability of treatment information by filing, retrieving, and maintaining patient records.

• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

• Maintain an organized and clean workspace

• Contributes to team effort by willingness to assist

• Strong Office and administrative skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Strong computer skills
• Medical experience preferred
