Mechanical Assembler Diesel Engine Assembler at Clarke Fire Protection Products Inc – Cincinnati, Ohio

$18-$28 per hour, depending upon experience

Night Shift only 11p-7a / competitive shift differential

We are looking for Diesel Engine Assemblers to join the Union team at our Clarke Fire Sharonville location!Are you mechanically inclined with previous assembly experience? What are the duties?

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Positions parts according to assembly instructions or following blueprints
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners
• Requires basic set of hand tools
• Must be available for 3rd shift (11p-7a) and flexible schedule during training.
• Must be able to work Overtime
• Versatile Team player willing to learn multiple processes.

Skills and/or Experience

• Use of hand tools and pneumatic or battery impact tools
• Understand torque values and ability to use torque wrenches
• Detail oriented, ability to read parts list
• Ability to complete documentation and other necessary paperwork
• Diesel or automotive trade school is preferred

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
• The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
• The associate must be able to read and write reports.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
