Caser Operator at Zausner Foods Corporation – Visalia, California

Duties and responsibilities but not limited to:

• Operate caser, case packer, lid applicator, or labeler in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain proper case and container codes and properly apply labels
• Make operator adjustments as needed
• Complete paperwork and pallet tags properly
• Keep equipment cleaned and in proper operating condition
• Advise foreman or shift supervisor of potential problems
• Assist other line personnel as required to minimize losses
• Pull all required samples
• May be required to train other employees
• Frequent lifting up to 55 pounds and carrying of materials an average weight of 41 pounds
• Maintain good housekeeping in the downstream areas at all times
• Ensure that line detectors are working properly
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be able to alert maintenance, foreman or supervisor to potential problems
• Must posses a mechanical aptitude and be able to make minor machine adjustments.

• Must be able to communicate clearly both orally and written form.
