Warehouseman at Pella Mid-Atlantic – Beltsville, Maryland

Warehouse Specialists are vital members of our team at Pella Mid-Atlantic. In this position, an employee will perform variety of duties in the warehouse including, but not limited to, receiving product, scanning and tracking material through the building, using order pickers and forklifts to store and pull material in the warehouse, and loading outbound delivery. Pella Mid-Atlantic is reputable for excellent customer service and as a Warehouse Specialist, it is crucial that all orders have been correctly staged and loaded to ensure the delivery and installation process to run seamlessly.

For this position, Pella Mid-Atlantic is searching for a detail-oriented professional with exceptional work ethic and the ability to adapt to change in the daily work schedule. In addition to the above mentioned responsibilities and skills, a candidate must be forklift certified and have experience with order pickers.
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for work assigned in the warehouse preparing our materials for shipping, receiving materials delivered to the warehouse, making sure all material is staged, ready and visually inspected for quality control
• Handle all inventory orders for install and service warehouse stock
• Review daily reports and prints (as necessary) material sheets to plan and prep materials in advance
• Assist in weekly cycle counts and reconciliation
• Receive all materials and scan material in and out to proper location.
• Returns all phone calls & E-mail by the end of each business day
• Maintains a safe, clean and organized work environment
