Are you a dynamic and motivated individual with a passion for leading a team? We are currently seeking a Department Lead to join our fast-paced retail environment. As a Department Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a department within our store. If you have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a proven ability to motivate and inspire others, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
• Manage and lead a team of employees in the department, including conducting regular team meetings and providing coaching and feedback
• Utilize point-of-sales (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure that shelves are adequately stocked at all times
• Create and implement strategies to increase department sales and profitability
• Ensure that all employees adhere to company policies and procedures
• Assist in hiring and onboarding new employees, as needed
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to promote repeat business
• Conduct regular performance evaluations for department staff and provide recommendations for improvement

Requirements
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership position, preferably within the retail industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Proven ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and merchandising techniques
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• High school diploma or equivalent
