Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) CT and Ultrasound

Location: Rosebud Comprehensive Health Care Facility 800 Hospital Drive, Rosebud, SD 57570Position Summary:Akicita Federal is seeking experienced and certified Radiologic Technologists to provide continuous coverage in Computerized Tomography (CT), General Radiology (X-ray), and Ultrasound (US) services for the Indian Health Service (IHS) at the Rosebud Comprehensive Health Care Facility. The selected candidates will work in a fast-paced environment that provides 24/7 support to the Emergency Department in accordance with Joint Commission Standards.
Key Responsibilities:-Perform a wide scope of imaging procedures including CT scans, X-rays, and Ultrasounds per facility protocols.-Ensure all imaging exams are safe, high-quality, and performed with cultural sensitivity and patient respect.-Maintain documentation and complete medical records prior to final workday.-Participate in quality assurance programs and follow HIPAA, CMS, and Joint Commission standards.-Provide on-call services as scheduled, with paid flat hourly rate when on-call and standard hourly rate when called in.-Maintain professional communication with patients, staff, and radiologists; resolve patient concerns in a courteous manner.-Uphold infection control, safety policies, and IHS radiology department procedures.
Work Schedule:Shifts may vary and include 8, 10, or 12-hour combinations to ensure full department coverage.
Qualifications:-CT Technologists: Must hold active certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and CT credential.-Ultrasound Technologists: Must have active ARDMS credentials (ARRT not required for ultrasound-only roles).-Minimum 1 year of recent experience in CT, X-ray, or Ultrasound in a hospital or clinical setting.-BLS certification required.
Preferred Skills:-Multi-modality skills (CT + US or CT + X-ray)-Experience in rural or underserved healthcare settings-Strong documentation and time management skills-Excellent interpersonal and cultural competency
$140,000 - $150,000 a year
