WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR at Edge Building Solutions – Alpharetta, Georgia

Position Summary/Objective:

The role of the Warehouse Manager is to lead their team to ensure warehouse activities are carried out efficiently and profitably.

Essential Functions:

· Oversees the daily workflow of the warehouse; schedules and organizes staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts.

· Hires and trains new warehouse employees.

· Ensures efficient warehouse operations through collaboration and coordination with other departments.

· Executes maintenance activities when needed.

· Researches, identifies, and presents new ideas to improve warehouse operations.

· Attends and participates in regularly scheduled and impromptu meetings.

· Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

· Executes daily inventory analysis; identifies and resolves discrepancies and problems.

· Oversees stock item master, identifying incorrect descriptions and stock numbers.

· Locates items that may have incorrect locations or stock numbers to assist order processors.

· Communicates with Purchasing Department as needed regarding new items, changes of location, and counts.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.

· At least two years’ experience in a Supervisory role.

· Forklift and OSHA certifications a plus.

· Strong computer skills

Physical Demands:

· Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.

· Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position. Warehouse environment.

Travel:

Some travel may be required for this position (<5%)
