Pitt–Bradford — an NCAA Division III institution — is seeking a Women’s Lacrosse Coach Intern. This is a temporary, on-site, 10-month position.
Duties: Primarily reporting to the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach, the Assistant Lacrosse Coach (Intern) will assist in all phases of the program. Responsibilities include coaching and teaching (75%) and administrative duties (25%).
Coaching responsibilities:
Assist with and provide instruction during practices and games.
Support player development through individual and team training sessions.
Provide strategic analysis for games and practices.
Recruiting responsibilities:
Assist with both on-campus and off-campus recruiting efforts.
Coordinate campus visits for prospective student-athletes.
Administrative duties:
Monitor academic progress and provide support for student-athletes.
Assist with game day management and event operations as needed.
Wage: Pennsylvania state minimum wage at aproximately 37.5 hours per week. This position includes housing and a meal plan.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 1 year of playing and/or coaching experience at the college level.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a diverse community.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
First Aid, CPR, and AED Certifications required.
