Security Desk Student Worker

Position Description and Benefits:

A Security Desk Student Worker is a student that reports to the Security Staff on Duty. Student-workers may also be assigned to handle or assist in university wide events and activities. The student will serve as a direct resource for Harrisburg University.

The student should be able to communicate and provide excellent customer service. The student worker must always be able to communicate with the public pleasantly and professionally.

Responsibilities:

The student worker’s principal responsibility is to aid in, but are not limited to:

1. Welcoming visitors and clients
2. Assisting with elevator operation
3. Managing check ins
4. Being receptive and open to other duties as reasonably assigned by Security Staff
