Substitute Teacher in Staten Island, New York at Richmond University Medical Center

The Substitute Teacher works in cooperation with the teachers in the class to provide a learning environment that stimulates the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child enrolled/assigned and maintains a clean, safe, and prepared environment.

Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED-Required

Preferred:

Experience in working with preschool children

Ability to communicate effectively and be able to work in a team.

Must be able to multitask and prioritize competing demands.

Ability to creatively motivate and engage student interests

Attend educational training workshops and in-service sessions planned for staff.

Interpersonal and writing skills required.

Computer skills

Salary: $23.46/hour
