POSITION SUMMARY:
The Residential Sales Associate is responsible for taking the lead in being a warmhearted resource for families in search of senior living. Assist the Sales Director with all aspects of the sales process such as scheduling appointments, assist with personal visits with prospective residents, lead base management, community events and community awareness.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Models a service attitude towards others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better, is friendly and courteous to residents, patients, and co-workers.
Ensure resident/patient, visitor, and co-worker safety by remaining aware of and reporting any new or existing safety hazards.
Maintain good attendance record.
Recruit, hire, train, coach. And evaluate departmental staff (management staff Only)
Responsible for new independent living, assisted living and memory care resident move-ins, as well as assisting future residents in available selections and will perform all necessary functions for ensuring the successful move-in for future residents from point of sale to move in
Assist with and support the sales efforts as needed.
Handle all details of new resident move-ins, including but not limited to standard and upgrade selections, processing forms, addendums and deposits and coordination with Facility Services regarding selections, vendor, and construction requests.
Work with relocation companies to refer new incoming residents for homes sales and monitor home sale situations.
Oversee physical status of vacant apartment to market and coordinates with Facility Services and Residential Sales Manager to maintain in prime condition or alter, according to new resident requirements.
Support of Sales Team efforts including assisting with office coverage, phone answering file processing and completion, marketing events and lead management updates
Prepare weekly and monthly marketing reports as required.
Arrange the New Resident welcome kit (Handbook, Welcome Gift, Notification to all department heads and notification to residents)
Work with various departments and individuals, including but not limited to, Corporate Facility Services, Finance, Resident Life and Resident Welcoming Committee
Demonstrate excellent customer service best practices in the Sales office and influences a hospitality focused environment throughout the community.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma/GED
Experience in senior care/housing preferred.
Exceptional customer service skills required.
Previous experience dealing with subcontractors and designers preferred.
Knowledge of construction and interior design terminology preferred.
