Overview:

Here at Chick-fil-A we are seeking an experienced Catering Manager to lead and grow our outside sales division. In this role, you will spearhead the acquisition, production, delivery, and follow-up for all catering orders, while fostering strong relationships with our clients. We hire the friendliest people who have a heart for customer service and a passion for working in a community-minded restaurant setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all catering operations, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
  • Spearhead the acquisition, production, delivery, and follow-up for all catering orders.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring timely completion, while also contributing hands-on as needed.
  • Grow and develop catering relationships through personal interactions, traditional marketing, and digital communication in alignment with corporate and local strategies.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of Chick-fil-A's product mix and company vision, staying current with company-wide marketing initiatives.
  • Handle guest issues that may arise during the catering experience, ensuring flawless follow-up and resolution.
  • Demonstrate commitment to our restaurant vision and maintain a positive working relationship with all team members.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen, front-line teams, and leadership to ensure catering operations run smoothly.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience and knowledge in the catering industry is required.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring high performance and adherence to standards.
  • Customer Service: Strong commitment to superior customer service, with the ability to handle guest concerns and complaints effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and build lasting relationships with clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Responsible, accountable, and highly organized, with an analytical and meticulous working style.
  • Punctuality: Reliable and consistently meets deadlines and shift start times.
  • Certification: ServSafe Manager Certification (or ability to obtain after hiring).
  • Attitude: Positive attitude with a desire to grow both business and personal skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability: Must be accessible outside of regular restaurant hours to strategize and fulfill last-minute orders.
