About This Position
Position Information: Reporting directly to company ownership, this role provides strategic and operational management for all convenience store and petroleum retail locations, as well as food service operations Identify, assess and develop strategies and action plans to address operational issues with the objective of attaining best practices Coaching, training, mentoring and developing District Managers, as well as participation in DM recruiting / hiring efforts P&L responsibilities, including budgets, sales, expenses in store profitability Maintain strong field presence to ensure implementation of programs and operational execution. Candidate Requirements: Prior retail operations management experience, specifically the supervision of District Managers and development / implementation of strategic initiatives Experience in the convenience store / petroleum sector Food service operations experience highly desirable Track record of successes in mentoring team members and management Track record of effective P&L management Business degree Required education: Bachelor's Degree Required experience: Demonstrated Director or VP of Operations for a convenience store chain: 3 years Demonstrated marketing in a convenience store environment: 3 years
