Job Description
Position Information:
- Reporting directly to company ownership, this role provides strategic and operational management for all convenience store and petroleum retail locations, as well as food service operations
- Identify, assess and develop strategies and action plans to address operational issues with the objective of attaining best practices
- Coaching, training, mentoring and developing District Managers, as well as participation in DM recruiting / hiring efforts
- P&L responsibilities, including budgets, sales, expenses in store profitability
- Maintain strong field presence to ensure implementation of programs and operational execution.
- Prior retail operations management experience, specifically the supervision of District Managers and development / implementation of strategic initiatives
- Experience in the convenience store / petroleum sector
- Food service operations experience highly desirable
- Track record of successes in mentoring team members and management
- Track record of effective P&L management
- Business degree
- Bachelor's Degree
- Demonstrated Director or VP of Operations for a convenience store chain: 3 years
- Demonstrated marketing in a convenience store environment: 3 years
