Holyoke Medical Group (HMG) is a physician group practice affiliated with Valley Health Systems, Inc., the parent company of Holyoke Medical Center. HMG provides a broad range of physician services in offices conveniently located throughout Western Massachusetts. Services include adult primary care, family medicine, pediatrics, and walk-in care.

Our Chicopee Primary Care Physician Practice is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to perform duties within the scope of responsibility of a medical assistant with additional tasks related to patient flow in the office. Duties include, but are not limited to, escorting patient into the clinical area, taking vital signs and documenting them in the patient record; obtaining history of the current visit and documenting information in the patient's record.

REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate or equivalent; successful completion of a Medical Assistant school with ABHES or CAAHEP accreditation; two years of general experience as a medical assistant in a patient care or clinic environment. Must be registered/certified within six months of hire with one of the following: RMA/AMT, CMA/AAMA, or CCMA/NHA; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
