Sr Programmer Analyst Apps at Crouse Hospital – Syracuse, New York

Under the direction of Information Technology leadership, perform the duties and responsibilities which are required of a Senior Programmer Analyst-Applications, including but not limited to: providing application programming and maintenance; analytical and technical support for multiple applications; and documentation and maintenance on ancillary applications. Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline and/or acceptable equivalent combination of education, training and experience. EXPERIENCE: Minimum five years programming experience: HL7, XML, TCL, PERL or shell script programming skills on a UNIX platform in the healthcare industry preferred. Experience in development and support of integration between applications, platforms or external entities required; experience with integration technology and toolsets preferred. Acquired understanding of advanced programming concepts and techniques. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; troubleshooting skills; planning and organization skills; be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.. Must be able to provide systems support off-hours as needed.
