Event Supervisor at Puff N Stuff Catering – Tampa, Florida

Title: Event Supervisor (Part-time, full-time, on-call, flexible scheduling, diverse work environment)
Reports To: Service Manager

Puff 'n Stuff Catering is looking for Event Supervisors to lead a service team, providing direction, motivating and supporting them to ensure success. Flexible schedules available based on your availability and completely within your control - easy to fit a changing schedule or as a second job!

Basics
* Show up in uniform with a positive attitude
* Provide onsite supervision and motivation to service team members, verify attendance, supervise unpacking and event setup, provide leadership, feedback and coaching as you go.
* Make safe food handling procedures are followed during event
* Work with Event Chef to make sure everything you need for the event gets loaded on the truck and off loaded at the end of the night
* Drive to and from the event in the company truck with the Event Chef
* Supervise and maintain positive guest experience
* Supervise closing/breakdown duties including clean up, moving tables and chairs, reloading items, etc.
* Provide top-level customer service and proper etiquette when serving guest(s)
* Be prepared to work in all types of weather - events can be indoors and outdoors

Qualifications
* Ability to listen, understand and motivate employees
* Ability to make decisions and find alternative solutions to problems
* Time management skills, detail oriented, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
* Be able to regularly lift, move, and carry up to 50lbs (each shift will begin with unloading necessary equipment for the day, and end with re-loading)
* Speak English fluently, excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Reliable transportation to and from locations throughout Central Florida or Tampa
* Clean driving record and ability to drive small truck
* Must be okay with working in a non-smoking environment

Preferred Qualifications
* 2 years of fine dining experience, preferably in a high volume operation
* 1 year of supervisory, management or organizational leadership experience
