Job Description

  • DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION
    • Delivery and pick-up at all designated locations and times. Items to be transported include, but are not limited to: mail, supplies (medical and non-medical) pharmaceuticals, laundry, equipment, lab specimens, payroll sheets, and other miscellaneous items as assigned or required.
  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
    • Experience:
      • 3 months as a courier/mail handler preferred
    • Education and Training:
      • High School required
    • License, Certification & Registration:
      • DRIVER - Driver's License
    • Other Requirements:
      • Ability to communicate courteously and effectively. Ability to use communication devices such as telephones, pagers, etc. Ability to work independently, and in a team setting. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to perform repetitive duties. Willingness to complete assignments with a high level of quality, and consideration of patients, staff, and physicians. Ability to receive criticism professionally. Willingness to address customer needs
