About This Position

  • Full-Time PM - Lead, Monday through Friday & Holiday rotation

    POSITION PURPOSE

  • Explains exams to patients and positions them for quality diagnostic images.
  • Under the supervision of a Radiologist, administers intravenous/oral contrast following department protocols.
  • Communicates effectively with patients of all ages, demonstrating compassion and patience.
  • Provides technical departmental coverage 24/7.
  • Coordinates daily workflow.
  • Assists with management tasks (e.g., payroll, budget, charges, database recording, QA, equipment maintenance, inventory).
  • Contributes to policy development and review.
  • Supports recruitment, retention, counseling, education, and compliance.
  • Fosters teamwork and positive relationships,
  • Supports a positive reflection of Froedtert South leadership.
  • Ensures compliance with licensing and certification requirements.
  • Upholds departmental and system policies.
    • LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED

    • Licensure to be eligible to practice as a Licensed Radiographer in the State of Wisconsin.
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.) – RT certified.
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.) - CT certified
    • Current BLS and/or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or the ability to obtain certification within 6 weeks of hire.
    • PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    • Must meet Department specific essential job duties.
    • Explains exams to patients and positions them for quality diagnostic images.
    • Administers intravenous/oral contrast following department protocols.
    • Communicates effectively with patients of all ages, demonstrating compassion and patience.
    • Assists with providing technical coverage 24/7.
    • Coordinates the department’s daily workflow.
    • Manages tasks such as payroll, budget, charges, database recording, reporting, QA, equipment maintenance, repair, inventory, and supply ordering.
    • Assists in developing and reviewing policies and procedures.
    • Supports employee recruitment, retention, counseling, education, and compliance.
    • Ensures department compliance with licensing and certification requirements.
    • Fosters positive working relationships with employees and physicians.
    • Supports leadership and system policies.
    • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

    • Minimum of 2 years as a CT Technologist with progressive responsibilities.
    • Basic computer knowledge.
    • Ability to read, write, hear, speak and comprehend the English language fluently.
    • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years
    • Demonstrated leadership ability, human relations and organizational skills in relating to co-workers, physicians, patients and other clinic/hospital departments (preferred).Experience in a supervisory or leadership responsibilities (preferred)
    • Familiarity with advanced imaging techniques, protocols, and equipment is crucial, as well as experience with administrative duties such as scheduling, training, and compliance with regulatory standards.
    • MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED

    • Associate Degree: Graduate of an accredited certification program in Radiologic Technology
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Diagnostic Radiography (Preferred)
