The Program Manager will implement substance-use prevention strategies as described in an annual work plan. They will plan activities to achieve outcomes and evaluate the work. They will work with a small team, independently and with partners in four communities to reduce and prevent youth substance use. It is a flexible full-time grant funded position.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate and implement activities to engage, educate and sustain a community health coalition serving communities in southern York County.
- Responsible for tracking progress and reporting results in online systems.
- Participate in staff meetings and other community, regional, and state meetings as necessary.
- Attend all grant mandated trainings and meetings.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in community health, public health or related field required.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in community organizing and/or health promotion field.
- Provisional or Certified Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist required.
