SPVR MID REVENUE SYSTEMS REPORTING AND ANALYTICS at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center – Tampa, Florida

Position Highlights:

This position supervises, assigns and monitors all activities performed by the Mid Revenue Cycle Sr System Analyst, Mid Revenue Cycle System Analyst, Mid Revenue Cycle Sr Data Analyst, Mid Revenue Cycle Data Analyst. This position ensures the operational oversight of the Mid Revenue Cycle - Health Information Managment and Revenue Integrity - systems and data related requests. It ensures the implementation and management or processes for system updates and upgrades which includes testing, validation pre and post production, data reporting and analysis to support decision making. In addition, the position provides support to leadership by incorporating data resources to support special projects to address trending items

Responsibilities:

• Supervises, monitors and sets team priorities to ensure timely completion of routine tasks and project deadlines. Completes all human resources functions related to the direct reports including the completion of the recruitment process, team mentorship and team relations
• Creates an education plan for the successful onboarding of new team members, deployment of new software, reports and visualization to all staff of the Mid Revenue Cycle
• Creates, implement and monitors controls to ensure the efficiency of all systems for Mid Revenue Cycle. Performs analysis and troubleshooting. Determines and identifies business and clinical issues through interaction with customers. Assist with new solution evaluations, provide feedback and supportive case analysis.
• Monitors team activity and productivity. Complete quality reviews to ensure integrity of the data, system updates and overall team performance. Create corrective action and reports trends to leadership in a timely manner

Credentials and Experience:

• Bachelors degree and a minimum of five (5) years of Health care clinical systems, Information Management or Revenue Integrity systems, development, implementation, and system support to ensure quality of system input/output data collection, reporting, analytics and visualization creation and process management.
  • Experience must be inclusive of a minimum of two (2) years' any combination of: project management/lead, systems lead, supervisor, manager or above.
• *In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an Associate's degree with two (2) additional years of experience as​​​​​​​ stated above, may be considered (total seven (7) years' experience)

Minimum Skills/Specialized Training Required

• Requires knowledge of healthcare terminology
• Demonstrate strong verbal, written and analytical skills.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills to identify trends and problem-solving opportunities
• Strong understanding of data management and systems interfaces
