Inventory Clerk in Dayton, Ohio at Precision Manufacturing Company Inc.

PURPOSE OF JOB:

Responsible for receiving purchased materials, picking and kitting materials for jobs, identifying and storing materials in inventory, and maintaining accurate counts of materials in inventory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Prepare job kits as required for production jobs in accordance with production documentation and company procedures
• Alert purchasing of shortages, overages or discrepancies of inventory counts to computerized inventory levels
• Compare received materials to materials ordered and notifies purchasing of discrepancies
• Identify and store received materials in inventory area in accordance with company procedures
• Maintain an updated computerized inventory of all parts received, picked, or returned to inventory in accordance with company procedures
• Notify management of product defects
• Manage one’s own work load for maximum efficiency
• Perform other duties reasonably related to the position as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

· 20/20 vision with correction

· Able to lift 25 to 40 pounds for 30 seconds at a time, 8-10 times per day

· Able to stand 3 hours at a time
