WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Professional Programs Coordinator collaborates across the Professional Programs team to provide a range of administrative support to professional programs initiatives, including NKF Professional Membership, Professional Education/CME, and NKF’s annual premiere conference – the NKF Spring Clinical Meetings. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage recurring workflows in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and plays a critical part in ensuring processes run smoothly, information flows consistently, and administrative requirements are met to support NKF priorities.
- Assist with scheduling needs, navigating complex schedules of healthcare professionals for planning meetings, podcast recordings, etc.
- Facilitate monthly reporting needs for the team
- Coordinates the content calendar and posting for NKF’s NephPros social media accounts
- Monitors and responds to customer service inquiries using the Salesforce service queue
- Support timelines and processes for the annual NKF Spring Clinical Meetings
- Assist the team with financial processing needs, such as vendor payments and volunteer reimbursements
- Coordinates the collection of required CME speaker documentation and maintains accurate program rosters and faculty data
- Supports the dissemination and tracking of the CE peer review process
- Builds monthly CE activities in the Professional Education Resource Center (PERC)
- Provides editorial workflow support to the Journal of Nephrology Social Work
- Provide technical support for virtual events such as Project ECHO sessions, podcast recordings, and member calls
- Performs additional duties, as required
WHAT YOU’LL POSSESS
- · Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
- · Minimum two to three years job related office administrative experience is preferred, with previous healthcare professionals support experience a plus
- · Experience in project management/coordination desired
- · Advanced organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while demonstrating attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and organization
- · Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- · Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide a high level of customer service
- · Word processing skills, computer literate on Microsoft Office Software, Outlook Calendar
- · Ability to work without close supervision; to set priorities and perform multiple tasks, dealing effectively with deadlines and time pressure
- · Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
- · Flexible for business travel 1 time annually

WORKING CONDITIONS, EQUIPMENT USED AND SPECIAL INFORMATION
Must have unimpeachable integrity and trustworthiness while possessing a high degree of tact, discretion and professionalism. Maintain effectiveness under pressure. Competent in the use of standard office equipment, including telephone, personal computer, fax machine, and photocopier. Flexible for moderate overnight business travel which may include weekends.
