Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Full-Cycle Sales Representative based in South Africa.
This is a high-ownership sales role within a fast-growing B2B SaaS environment serving field service and operations businesses.
You will own the complete sales funnel, from inbound lead response and outbound prospecting through discovery, demos, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
As the first dedicated sales hire, you will have direct visibility with the founder and meaningful influence over how the sales function evolves.
The role combines software subscriptions with professional services and onboarding packages, requiring strong consultative selling and closing skills.
You will manage your own pipeline, maintain rigorous CRM discipline, and follow established sales processes with minimal supervision.
Your insights will also help shape messaging, ICP definitions, product feedback, and scalable sales processes.
This is an ideal opportunity for an independent, commercially driven closer who wants direct responsibility for revenue growth.
Own the full sales cycle from lead research and outreach through qualification, discovery, product demonstration, proposal, negotiation, close, and handoff to onboarding.
Respond rapidly to inbound leads through calls, email, and SMS while maintaining a consistent speed-to-lead standard.
Conduct structured discovery conversations to understand customer pain points, existing tools, decision-making processes, timelines, and budget indicators.
Lead compelling product demonstrations independently, with support from customer success when appropriate.
Manage proposals, quotes, signatures, and kickoff coordination for successful deals.
Close both recurring software subscriptions and professional services or onboarding packages.
Build and maintain outbound prospecting lists through account research, cold calling, and targeted email outreach.
Maintain accurate CRM records, including pipeline stages, tags, sequences, activities, next steps, close dates, and notes.
Follow established sales SOPs consistently and maintain pipeline hygiene that provides reliable visibility into revenue opportunities.
Provide regular reporting on sales activity, pipeline performance, wins, losses, and blockers.
Share customer and prospect insights with product and marketing teams, including ICP feedback, objections, feature requests, and market observations.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of scripts, talk tracks, sales processes, and ICP definitions as the commercial function grows.
Handle objections and negotiate within approved pricing parameters, escalating exceptions when necessary.
Proven experience closing or substantially contributing to B2B software or other high-consideration sales; appointment-setting experience alone is not sufficient.
Strong spoken English and the confidence to independently lead discovery calls, product demonstrations, and commercial conversations.
Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close.
Strong self-direction and ownership, with the ability to operate effectively as the primary sales representative reporting directly to a founder.
Excellent CRM discipline and the ability to consistently follow documented sales processes without close supervision.
Strong outbound calling and prospecting skills, combined with the ability to build productive customer relationships.
Reliable availability during US business hours.
Strong organizational skills and attention to pipeline details, follow-ups, activity tracking, and commercial deadlines.
Ability to identify customer needs, handle objections, communicate value, and move opportunities toward a decision.
Spanish proficiency is an advantage, particularly for communicating with Spanish-speaking customers.
Experience selling to SMBs, field service companies, or trade service businesses is a plus.
Previous experience as an early-stage or first sales hire is beneficial.
Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or GoHighLevel is advantageous.
Compensation paid in USD on a bi-monthly schedule, every 15th and 30th.
Paid time off in accordance with company policy.
Holiday observance according to company guidelines.
100% remote work, providing flexibility to work from wherever you are most productive.
Additional financial incentives for professional services deals.
Direct access to the founder and significant influence over the development of the sales function.
High-ownership environment with direct impact on revenue and business growth.
Opportunity to help establish and improve sales processes within an early-stage B2B SaaS business.
US business-hours schedule to support customers and prospects effectively.
