Job Title: Warehouse Operations Lead

Location: Deer Valley (I-17 & W Pinnacle Peak Rd)

Compensation: $19.25 – $28.85 per hour / $40,000 – $60,000 annually (Depending on Experience)

Employment Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt with Benefits (Medical, Life, Dental, Vision, and 401K)

Schedule: Rotating schedule, Monday through Friday — 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. one week, alternating with 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. the following week (No nights, no weekends, and no major holidays!)

Position Overview

The Warehouse Operations Lead is a strategic, working lead role responsible for the overall performance of Envita's central warehouse and for supporting the company-wide equipment fleet. Reporting to the Supply Chain Supervisor, this position owns strategic warehouse inventory ordering in support of every Envita company, coordinates bulk purchasing with supply chain leadership, manages the equipment fleet logistics and supports vendor service coordination, and ensures the warehouse is maintained as a safe, well-organized operation.

This role serves as the peer functional lead to the Inventory Coordinators across each Envita entity — including Envita Medical Center, Envita Interventional Radiology, Envita North Building, Genetics First Lab, and Vertisis Custom Compounding Pharmacy — ensuring the warehouse is utilized effectively to support the needs of every company. As a working lead, the Warehouse Operations Lead partners closely with the Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to ensure all daily shipping, receiving, and stocking activities are executed accurately and on time, while also carrying strategic responsibility for staging, equipment training, and cross-entity coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Inventory & Procurement

• Place all orders for warehouse inventory to support strategic stock levels across every Envita company.
• Partner with Supply Chain leadership to coordinate bulk purchasing and centralized management of warehouse inventory.
• Monitor and forecast inventory levels; analyze usage patterns, trends, and opportunities for waste reduction.
• Maintain and continuously improve inventory processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Support inventory system maintenance, updates, and data integrity within ENVI.
• Develop and apply purchasing fundamentals in daily work — including vendor comparison, PO accuracy, spend awareness, and identification of cost-savings and consolidation opportunities — and partner with the Supply Chain Supervisor on progressively larger purchasing decisions.

Company-Wide Equipment Fleet Management

• Own the logging and tracking of all medical and non-medical equipment across the organization within the ENVI inventory management system.
• Log all newly acquired equipment and ensure full accountability for the equipment fleet.
• In coordination with the Supply Chain Supervisor, oversee day-to-day operations of the BSI equipment service relationship; serve as the primary operational point of contact for the vendor, coordinate scheduled annual and as-needed service, and own service documentation and records.
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready equipment records, including service history, warranty information, and asset location.

Warehouse Operations, Staging & Facility Upkeep

• Maintain the warehouse in clean, organized, and good working order at all times.
• Manage the warehouse's short-term to long-term (non-inventory) staging capabilities, and partner with leadership to proactively address any staging issues or concerns.
• Ensure receiving, stocking, and shipping areas are set up to support efficient daily operations and safe workflow.

Working Lead — Shipping & Receiving

• Serve as the working lead to the Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, ensuring all daily receiving, sorting, picking, packing, shipping, and stocking activities are conducted effectively and to standard.
• Perform and oversee visual inspection of all incoming materials for damage.
• Verify order receipts against packing slips to confirm all items have been received accurately.
• Support pick, pack, and ship activities and distribution of all orders to appropriate areas as needed.
• Transport supplies and medications to multiple Envita sites as needed using company cargo vans (including standard cargo van and cargo van with lift).

Unipathic Store — Back-End Operations

• Oversee back-end operations for the Unipathic Store, including order fulfillment, inventory replenishment, and returns processing.
• Coordinate closely with the Unipathic storefront team to ensure inventory availability aligns with sales activity and customer demand.

Cross-Company Coordination

• Serve as the peer functional lead to the Inventory Coordinators at each Envita entity, including but not limited to: Envita Medical Center, Envita Interventional Radiology, Envita North Building, Genetics First Lab, and Vertisis Custom Compounding Pharmacy.
• Coordinate with each company to understand supply needs and ensure the warehouse is being utilized effectively to support their operations.
• Foster strong working relationships with department heads, clinical leaders, and vendors to keep supply needs clearly communicated and fulfilled.
• Participate in the shared coverage rotation among Inventory Coordinators; cross-train on and maintain a working knowledge of peer roles to provide temporary coverage for PTO, sick time, and other planned or unplanned absences as needed.
• For ancillary Envita locations that do not have a dedicated site Inventory Coordinator, coordinate with site leadership to ensure all supply needs are covered — including ordering and maintaining appropriate par levels of office supplies and galley supplies.

Heavy Equipment Training & Safety

• Serve as the warehouse's heavy equipment trainer and operator, ensuring all relevant staff are fully trained — and periodically retrained — on the safe use of key warehouse equipment, including the electric walk-behind lift, pallet jacks, dollies, carts, and company vehicles.
• Maintain an active OSHA operator certification for the electric pallet jack and walk-behind lift.
• Obtain OSHA Train-the-Trainer certification within the first six months of employment, once familiar with Envita's specific program, in order to formally deliver in-house certification training.
• Champion a safety-first culture across the warehouse, including compliance with all applicable OSHA and internal safety standards.

General

• Communicate proactively and effectively with the Supply Chain team, clinic staff, and cross-company partners.
• Participate in additional projects or assignments as needed.

Qualifications

Required

• Completion of a 2-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Ability to become OSHA-certified on electric pallet jack and walk-behind lift within the first 30 days of employment (training and certification provided by Envita).
• Willingness to obtain OSHA Train-the-Trainer certification within the first six months of employment (training and certification provided by Envita).
• Valid Arizona Driver's License and ability to meet Envita's driving requirements.
• Clean motor vehicle record.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel — including sorting, filtering, basic formulas, and pivot tables (or willingness to develop these skills quickly).
• Comfort communicating with vendors and coordinating scheduled service or delivery activities.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Strong time management and the ability to work independently and lead peers through influence.
• Commitment to ownership of responsibilities, with a strong work ethic and desire to excel.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred

• Completion of a 4-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Prior purchasing, procurement, or buyer experience (medical, healthcare, or multi-site environment strongly preferred).
• Prior experience with the ENVI inventory management system (or a comparable enterprise inventory platform).
• Experience in a medical, healthcare, or multi-site warehouse environment.
• Experience driving a box truck or high-top vehicle.
• Prior experience managing vendor service contracts.
