This individual ensures all learning solutions are progressive, practical, accessible, and effective across classroom and virtual learning environments.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the instructional design lifecycle: needs analysis, learning-objective development, curriculum architecture, content development, pilot support, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
Develop multi-tier, sequential learning paths that support learner progression from foundational concepts to advanced workplace application.
Design and update instructor guides, participant workbooks, presentations, exercises, case studies, assessments, virtual-learning assets, job aids, and post-training resources.
Ensure training assets function effectively in both physical classroom settings and interactive virtual instructor-led environments.
Collaborate with the PM, WSSC Water stakeholders, and Core Instructional Faculty to tailor course content to agency needs, organizational priorities, departmental realities, and varying learner skill levels.
Map learning content to the required catalog of professional-development, leadership-development, emerging-leader, project-management, software, and digital-technology topics.
Incorporate adult-learning principles, experiential learning, scenario-based exercises, knowledge checks, participant feedback, and performance measures into all course designs.
Support instructors through facilitation guides, delivery standards, train-the-trainer support, and content updates based on feedback and evaluation outcomes.
Maintain version control and quality assurance for all curriculum and training materials.

At least five years of experience designing adult-learning curriculum paths.
A degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, or an active Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) credential.
Demonstrated success developing sequential, progressive learning paths, including multi-month leadership-development models.
