Our Inside Sales Executives play a vital role in driving business growth, building client relationships, and identifying new opportunities.


About the role

The Internal Sales Associate is an entry-level position designed to grow talent new to Astute and/or our industry. You will develop proficiency in Astute's processes, procedures, and the Astute Anchors program — covering supply chain services, franchise distribution, and inventory solutions.

The primary focus of this role is sales and purchasing support: accurate order entry and management, cross-departmental liaison, data analysis, and maximizing sourcing efficiency across sales, procurement, and operations.

What you'll do

  • Provide strategic support to internal and external stakeholders to drive Astute Anchors and line card sales.
  • Maintain data systems and handle order entry and revision with accuracy.
  • Manage order books, keeping records current and reliable.
  • Manage Open Order Reports, push/pull reports, customer portals, and related tools.
  • Serve as the office system expert and train team members on best practices.
  • Support the sales team to maximize gross profit, grow market share, and drive value-added sourcing of electronic components and associated products.
  • Act as sourcing escalation point; build and maintain supplier and vendor relationships.
  • Manage third-party vendors for outsourced testing and value-added services.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure on-time delivery, demand fulfillment, and customer satisfaction.
  • Review and clean PPV lists, run Vortex, analyze data, and develop targeted sourcing and procurement plans for key customer programs.
  • Field, qualify, quote, and convert franchise requirements.
  • Help identify and onboard new customers and support AVL/PSL qualification.

Marginal Duties:

  • Undertake additional duties as reasonably required to support company operations.
  • Comply with all reasonable directions given by the company while performing job responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on profitable outcomes.
  • Knowledge of electronic components and understanding of the electronics manufacturing industry on a global scale.
  • Expertise in customer relationship management, account qualification, and RFQ prioritization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis; Salesforce experience is desirable.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or experience preferred.
  • Proven trading and negotiation experience within the electronics sector.

Location and Work Mode:

  • 100% on-site position.
  • Work location: Expo Guadalajara, Guadalajara, Jalisco.
