Job Description

Solution Architect for Dedicated NA Team

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Solution Architect for Dedicated NA Team in the United States.

This role sits at the heart of a dedicated presales organization, where you will shape the technical vision and architectural direction of complex software solutions for enterprise clients across the US region. You will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing architectures. The position is highly client-facing and strategically focused, requiring strong engagement throughout the presales cycle, from early discovery to solution design and proposal development. You will lead technical conversations, define solution approaches, and support commercial efforts through estimation and architecture design. Operating in a fast-moving, multi-domain environment, you will work across diverse projects that require quick context switching and strong adaptability. This is an ideal role for a senior technical leader who enjoys influencing solution strategy and working closely with both clients and delivery teams.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the definition of solution architectures based on business and technical requirements, constraints, and quality attributes.
  • Drive technical presales activities, including solution vision creation, architectural design, and client-facing technical discussions.
  • Elicit and analyze business and technical requirements from stakeholders to ensure alignment with proposed solutions.
  • Provide effort estimation, pricing inputs, and support commercial proposal development in collaboration with sales teams.
  • Design and document scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures using trade-off analysis and best-practice methodologies.
  • Support project initiation and knowledge transfer to development teams, ensuring alignment with architectural vision.
  • Guide technology selection, reference architectures, and design patterns based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Support ongoing project delivery by reviewing architectural decisions, contributing to PoCs, and ensuring long-term solution integrity.
  • Participate in onsite client engagements and technical consulting activities when required.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software development using .NET, Java, or JavaScript.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical leadership and software architecture roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS preferred; GCP acceptable with willingness to reskill).
  • Solid understanding of AI-based solutions and ability to design and position AI-enabled systems in presales contexts.
  • Experience in presales or sales engineering activities, collaborating with sales and business teams.
  • Experience contributing to pricing, estimation, and commercial proposal development.
  • Strong knowledge of non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security, maintainability) and ISO 25010 principles.
  • Ability to produce clear architectural documentation and engage in structured solution design discussions.
  • Excellent English communication skills for direct client interaction.
  • Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, and stakeholder management abilities.
Benefits
  • Opportunity to work closely with enterprise clients and directly influence solution design and architecture.
  • Exposure to diverse, international projects across multiple business domains.
  • Business travel opportunities and onsite client engagement.
  • Highly dynamic, low-bureaucracy environment with strong technical autonomy.
  • Continuous professional development and access to complex, challenging technical work.
  • Collaborative team of experienced professionals in a high-performance presales organization.
  • Ability to influence technology choices and architectural direction on key engagements.
