This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Head of Physical & Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) Security in India.
This is a senior global leadership role responsible for defining, governing, and continuously improving enterprise-wide physical security and critical national infrastructure (CNI) security frameworks. You will drive the standardization of security processes across regions, ensuring consistency, compliance, and risk-based decision-making across all business units. The role plays a key part in integrating physical security, GSOC operations, and CNI requirements into a unified, intelligence-led security operating model. You will lead transformation initiatives focused on automation, digitalization, and data-driven security governance. The environment is highly international and complex, requiring strong collaboration across regions, functions, and regulatory landscapes. This position is ideal for a seasoned security leader who can balance strategic oversight with operational excellence. You will have a direct impact on protecting people, assets, and critical operations worldwide.
- Own and govern global physical security and CNI security standards, frameworks, processes, and training programs.
- Ensure consistent implementation and compliance across all regions, business units, and operational sites.
- Align security programs with regulatory, contractual, and customer-driven CNI requirements.
- Lead assurance activities including audits, maturity assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive global standardization and simplification of physical security and CNI processes to reduce fragmentation.
- Oversee automation of security workflows, reporting, and compliance processes using enterprise platforms.
- Strengthen GSOC integration, defining escalation paths, monitoring structures, and incident response frameworks.
- Improve data quality and analytics to support executive-level decision-making and operational visibility.
- Act as global subject matter expert providing risk-based security guidance across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Real Estate, HSE, Legal, Cybersecurity, and business teams.
- Develop training, awareness, and capability-building programs for security stakeholders globally.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (mandatory).
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in physical security, CNI security, or related fields in global environments.
- Senior leadership experience within government, military, intelligence, international organizations, or large multinational corporations.
- Strong expertise in security governance, regulatory compliance, and CNI-related legal frameworks.
- Proven experience leading global transformation programs and process standardization initiatives.
- Familiarity with GSOC or command center operating models and integrated security operations.
- Experience leveraging enterprise tools such as ServiceNow, Everbridge, SharePoint, and Power BI.
- Strong understanding of physical security systems, access control, monitoring technologies, and risk management.
- Knowledge of international frameworks such as ICoCA and Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights is an advantage.
- Professional certifications such as ASIS CPP or PSP are highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with global exposure.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%).
