Vice President, Facilities and Resource Management

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Vice President, Facilities and Resource Management in the United States.

This is a senior executive leadership role responsible for overseeing all facilities operations, capital construction programs, and equipment management across a large, multi-site healthcare platform. You will define and execute the strategic direction for a geographically distributed network of clinics and ambulatory surgery centers, ensuring infrastructure supports safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. The role combines long-term capital planning with hands-on operational oversight of complex construction and facility initiatives. You will lead a team while managing multiple concurrent development projects, including new facility builds, expansions, and modernization efforts. Acting as a key executive partner to business leadership, you will also ensure regulatory compliance, financial discipline, and operational continuity across all sites. This position requires a strong blend of strategic vision, technical expertise, and executional leadership in a fast-scaling healthcare environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Provide executive leadership and strategic oversight for all facilities operations, equipment management, and capital construction initiatives across a multi-state healthcare network.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of capital construction projects, including ambulatory surgery centers, clinic expansions, and facility upgrades, ensuring timely and budget-aligned completion.
  • Manage relationships with architects, engineers, general contractors, and external consultants to ensure high-quality project execution and compliance with clinical operational needs.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Master Equipment Plan aligned with clinical priorities, operational requirements, and long-term organizational strategy.
  • Establish and oversee preventive maintenance programs across all facilities, including buildings, clinical equipment, and utility systems.
  • Build, manage, and optimize operating and capital budgets, including lifecycle costing and return-on-investment analysis for major infrastructure investments.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including state health departments, CMS, AAAHC, and local permitting and licensing standards.
  • Provide facilities due diligence and integration leadership for mergers, acquisitions, and expansion initiatives.
  • Evaluate and modernize facilities technology systems, including CMMS and equipment tracking platforms, to support scalability and efficiency.
  • Lead, develop, and grow a high-performing facilities and resource management team aligned with organizational growth objectives.
  • Serve as executive on-call for critical facilities issues outside of standard operating hours.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare facilities management, plant operations, or capital project leadership, including senior or executive-level responsibility.
  • Proven experience managing multi-site capital construction programs and associated operating and capital budgets.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and facility infrastructure, as well as CMMS platforms.
  • Experience working within regulated healthcare environments, particularly ambulatory surgery centers or similar clinical settings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • Strong leadership experience building and managing high-performing, multi-disciplinary operational teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee complex projects across multiple geographies and stakeholder groups.
  • Experience working in fast-growing, private equity-backed, or M&A-active environments is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with facilities modernization initiatives, including technology upgrades and systems integration.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in capital planning, budgeting, and ROI-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate at executive level.
Benefits:
  • Competitive executive compensation aligned with senior leadership responsibilities.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Retirement savings plan with employer contributions.
  • Generous paid time off and holiday schedule.
  • Opportunity to lead large-scale capital programs across a rapidly growing healthcare platform.
  • Executive-level visibility and direct impact on organizational growth strategy.
  • Professional development opportunities within a high-growth healthcare services organization.
  • Dynamic, mission-driven environment focused on expanding access to quality patient care.
