Blackrock Strategy, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Strategy & Growth to lead strategic growth initiatives, customer engagement efforts, and operational expansion activities across defense, national security, and mission-focused environments.
This role focuses on identifying opportunities, shaping growth strategy, strengthening customer relationships, and transitioning new efforts from concept into operational execution.
Operating in close coordination with executive leadership, this role plays a key part in shaping organizational priorities, growth strategy, and customer engagement efforts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify, shape, and support the pursuit of new business opportunities aligned with the Company's growth objectives
Support capture, proposal, and transition-to-execution activities for newly awarded programs
Serve as a senior liaison between customers, partners, consultants, and internal teams
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and strategic partners
Manage existing Private Equity client relationships and associated consultant coordination activities
Provide strategic insight regarding market positioning, competitive landscape, organizational priorities, and long-term growth strategy
Coordinate across leadership, operations, and program teams to support execution alignment
Assist with stand-up and operational coordination activities for new efforts and initiatives
Identify operational risks, resource gaps, and organizational growth needs
Support executive leadership in evaluating emerging opportunities, strategic partnerships, and business initiatives
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supporting strategic growth, business development, operational leadership, or capture activities
Strong relationship management and customer engagement skills
- Ability to build credibility and influence across executive leadership, customers, and external stakeholders
- Experience operating within defense, government contracting, national security, or similarly complex environments
- Ability to operate effectively across multiple organizations, stakeholders, and priorities
- Strong communication and executive briefing skills
- Demonstrated ability to support strategic planning and organizational growth initiatives
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and organizational leadership capability
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior executive or senior leadership experience
- Experience supporting Private Equity clients, portfolio operations, or strategic consulting engagements
- Experience transitioning programs from capture into operational execution
- Familiarity with federal contracting, DoD environments, or mission-focused organizations
- Existing customer and industry relationships within defense or national security sectors
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- High-visibility leadership role supporting strategic growth and operational initiatives
- Frequent interaction with executive leadership, customers, consultants, and partners
- Fast-paced environment requiring adaptability, discretion, and strong organizational judgment
- Travel may be required based on customer and operational needs
