SAP Business Engagement Analyst

In this role, you will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and SAP technology teams, driving end-to-end process optimization across core enterprise functions. You will analyze, redesign, and enhance SAP-enabled business processes to improve efficiency, reduce operational costs, and strengthen system adoption. Working in a highly collaborative environment, you will engage with cross-functional teams across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and sales operations. The role combines deep SAP functional understanding with strong business process expertise and change leadership. You will play a central part in SAP transformation initiatives, including S/4HANA migrations and continuous improvement programs. Accountabilities

In this role, you will lead efforts to analyze, optimize, and transform SAP-driven business processes across multiple functions. You will map current-state processes, identify inefficiencies, and design future-state improvements using structured methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma. You will collaborate closely with SAP technical teams to ensure system changes align with business needs and support ongoing enhancements and migrations.

  • Map, document, and analyze end-to-end SAP business processes across FI/CO, MM, SD, and PP environments
  • Identify process gaps, redundancies, and inefficiencies and design optimized future-state solutions
  • Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and BPM methodologies
  • Support SAP S/4HANA migrations, upgrades, and system enhancements from a business process perspective
  • Partner with IT and functional teams to translate business needs into SAP-enabled solutions
  • Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and stakeholder discussions to drive alignment and adoption
  • Develop training materials, SOPs, and process documentation to support end users and change management efforts
  • Contribute to UAT, project delivery, reporting, and benefits realization activities
Requirements

The ideal candidate brings strong SAP functional experience combined with a solid background in process improvement and business engagement. You should be comfortable working across multiple SAP modules and have experience leading or contributing to enterprise transformation initiatives. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills are essential for success in this role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on SAP experience across at least two core modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP preferred)
  • Strong understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA architecture and integration points
  • Experience leading or supporting process improvement initiatives with measurable outcomes
  • Familiarity with process mapping tools such as Signavio, Celonis, Visio, or ARIS
  • Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery frameworks is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, with experience facilitating workshops and training sessions
  • Experience supporting SAP migrations, UAT cycles, and change management activities
