Accountabilities:

Analyze and interpret program performance data to support policy development, evaluation, and decision-making for veterans’ employment initiatives.
Build, maintain, and enhance Tableau dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights and performance outcomes.
Support the design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and reliability across multiple sources.
Extract, clean, and integrate large datasets using tools and workflows that include joins, unions, filters, and advanced data preparation techniques.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to stakeholders on how to access, interpret, and use data products effectively.
Develop documentation, user guides, and training materials to support data literacy and system usability.
Identify trends, patterns, and insights within complex datasets to inform program improvements and policy recommendations.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on data reporting standards and requirements.
Support continuous improvement of data collection processes and analytical frameworks used across workforce development programs.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience building and maintaining Tableau dashboards using Tableau Desktop/Creator and Tableau Prep Builder.
At least 5 years of experience in data preparation, analysis, and management of complex datasets.
Strong experience working with data infrastructure, data collection systems, data cleaning, and troubleshooting data quality issues.
Ability to extract and integrate large datasets from multiple internal and external sources.
Experience analyzing data trends, identifying patterns, and producing actionable insights.
Strong ability to develop clear documentation, technical guidance, and user support materials.
Excellent communication skills for delivering technical explanations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience supporting workforce development, employment, or public-sector program data is highly desirable.
Familiarity with systems such as WIPS, PIRL, or similar workforce reporting frameworks is a plus.
Strong proficiency in quantitative analysis and tools such as Excel, Access, and Tableau.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government background investigation (MBI/BI).
