You will act as a culinary ambassador, translating product capabilities into compelling menu solutions that resonate with operators across diverse channels. The position combines hands-on culinary expertise with customer engagement, requiring strong presentation and relationship-building skills. Operating across a large multi-state territory, you will influence key foodservice partners through demonstrations, training, and thought leadership. You will collaborate closely with sales, distribution, and broker teams to strengthen brand presence and accelerate product adoption. This is a highly dynamic, field-based role with significant travel and direct customer impact.

Accountabilities

You will support field sales teams by delivering culinary expertise that drives product adoption, builds operator confidence, and increases brand visibility across key foodservice accounts.

  • Develop and present innovative menu applications using a broad portfolio of foodservice products aligned with current culinary trends.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, tastings, and recipe development sessions for customers, distributors, and sales teams.
  • Analyze customer menus and provide tailored culinary and operational recommendations to improve profitability and product usage.
  • Build and maintain strong chef-to-chef relationships with operators, industry partners, and regional stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with broker, distributor, and sales teams to identify growth opportunities and support strategic account development.
  • Provide training, culinary insights, and best-practice sharing to internal teams and external partners.
  • Contribute market and customer feedback to inform broader business and product strategy.
Requirements

This role requires strong culinary expertise combined with commercial awareness, field engagement capability, and the ability to influence stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

  • 4–8 years of foodservice, restaurant, or culinary selling experience, including exposure to field-based customer engagement.
  • Background in culinary arts, food science, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Strong understanding of back-of-house operations, culinary techniques, and food safety standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging presentations, training sessions, and product demonstrations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer-facing mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, travel extensively (40–60%), and work independently across a large territory.
  • Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset and focus on driving sales outcomes.
