Job Description

Bistro Dining Manager

$60,000-65,000 per year | Credit given for experience
Full-time Monday–Friday, occasional weekends and holidays may be required
Location: Wesley Willows | Rockford, IL

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee daily front-of-house (FOH) dining operations, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
  • Manage FOH staffing, including scheduling, training, evaluations, and employee relations in coordination with HR and leadership.
  • Plan and execute special events, including BEOs, pricing, and menu development with culinary and operations teams.
  • Maintain accurate labor budgets, payroll, inventory, and vendor management in line with fiscal guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards through regular audits and documentation.
  • Collaborate with BOH and Executive Chef for quality assurance, event planning, and service coordination.
  • Drive resident satisfaction and operational success by meeting or exceeding budget, revenue, and KPI goals.
What You'll Need:
  • ServSafe Food Manager certification (required)
  • 2 years of elevated dining and service methods (required)
  • Valid Driver's licence and clean MVR record (required)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
  • Skilled in event planning, catering, budgeting, and inventory management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Teams, POS systems, and general computer applications
  • Basset certification (preferred)
