This role will lead the evolution of business intelligence and data analytics across a growing organization.
You will own the development and expansion of Power BI capabilities, transforming complex business data into actionable insights.
The position combines hands-on analytics engineering with strategic ownership of reporting and data initiatives.
You’ll work closely with Finance, Revenue Operations, IT, Product, and other teams to understand business needs and deliver scalable solutions.
A key focus will be enabling better decisions around recurring revenue, subscriptions, customer retention, and operational performance.
You’ll also champion self-service analytics by improving data literacy, governance, and user adoption across the organization.
This is an opportunity to shape an analytics function, influence business strategy, and create measurable value through data.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the strategy, implementation, and adoption of Power BI across the organization, ensuring the BI roadmap remains aligned with business priorities.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable dashboards that provide visibility into critical KPIs, including MRR, churn, CAC, retention, and operational performance.
  • Integrate Power BI with diverse business data sources, including Salesforce, ERP systems, SQL databases, and subscription platforms.
  • Build scalable and high-performance data models using DAX, Power Query, and dataflows to support reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
  • Own BI initiatives from end to end, covering requirements gathering, planning, execution, stakeholder communication, delivery, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with FP&A, Revenue Operations, IT, Product, and other teams to understand requirements and deliver analytics solutions with measurable business impact.
  • Establish and promote data governance practices focused on data quality, integrity, security, compliance, and reliable BI deployment.
  • Optimize dashboard performance and reliability while proactively identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Train and support business users, promoting self-service analytics and strengthening data literacy across the organization.
  • Monitor emerging Power BI capabilities and analytics best practices, recommending innovations that improve the organization’s BI maturity and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on Power BI experience, ideally in a software, SaaS, or subscription-based business environment.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, dataflows, dashboard development, and data modelling.
  • Experience connecting and working with data from Salesforce, SQL Server, ERP systems, and other business platforms.
  • Strong understanding of recurring-revenue and SaaS metrics, including MRR, churn, retention, CAC, and related financial and operational indicators.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead analytics projects and effectively manage stakeholders across technical and non-technical functions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience mentoring, training, or enabling business users.
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, compliance, and BI deployment best practices, including GDPR and CCPA considerations.
  • Degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong analytical mindset, natural curiosity, and willingness to continuously learn and improve.
  • Power BI certification, Agile project experience, or exposure to Python, R, or Tableau is a plus.
Benefits
  • Remote-first work environment with flexibility and trust.
  • Contractor engagement model.
  • Opportunity to shape and influence the organization-wide analytics strategy.
  • High ownership over Power BI initiatives and the evolution of business intelligence capabilities.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Revenue Operations, IT, Product, and other teams.
  • Opportunity to build scalable analytics solutions and directly influence business decision-making.
  • Collaborative and innovative work environment where individual contributions can create meaningful change.
  • Participation in recognition programs and reward initiatives.
