Job Description

River Rock Casino Resort is seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our Food & Beverage team as Server 1 (part-time) Chairman's Lounge. In this role, you will create memorable dining experiences by providing professional, attentive, and efficient service while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service, build positive guest relationships, and contribute to an outstanding dining atmosphere. Key Accountabilities

  • Greetings guests warmly, using names whenever possible to create a personalized and memorable experience.
  • Escorts guests to tables when required, presents menus, and highlight daily features and promotions.
  • Describes menu items and beverages with confidence, including preparation methods and flavor profiles.
  • Takes accurate guest orders, offers thoughtful recommendations, and anticipates guest needs.
  • Serves food and beverages promptly, checks in for satisfaction, and ensures a seamless dining experience.
  • Prepare beverages and select food items when applicable.
  • Addresses guest concerns with professionalism or escalate to leadership when needed.
  • Presents bills upon request and processes payments accurately.
  • Clears and resets tables, maintains cleanliness, and restocks service areas as required.
  • Completes opening and closing responsibilities, including cash float counts when applicable.
  • Assists in covering other sections to support overall service flow.
  • Exercises sound judgment when serving alcoholic beverages and follows Serving it Right standards
  • Communicate effectively with all operational departments to support smooth service.
  • Builds strong working relationships with guests, ownership, and team members.
  • Ensures adherence to licensing laws, health and safety standards, and all regulatory requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the success of the venue.


Education & Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of serving experience with strong, service-oriented communication skills.
  • Experience with Squirrel POS system an asset
  • Serving It Right Certification
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming Worker License.


Work Environment Considerations: Standing for extended periods and supporting the operation during non‑traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as part of delivering exceptional guest experiences.
