Data Entry Clerk/Office Assistant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Entry Clerk/Office Assistant based in Canada.

This is a fully remote opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to support essential data and administrative operations.
You’ll help maintain accurate digital records, organize documentation, and keep day-to-day workflows running smoothly.
The role combines data entry, document management, communication, scheduling, and general virtual office support.
It is suitable for both entry-level candidates and experienced professionals looking to expand their administrative expertise.
Comprehensive training and ongoing support are available to help you become confident with the tools and processes involved.
Experienced team members may also take on more advanced responsibilities, including reporting, workflow improvement, and mentoring.

Accountabilities:
  • Accurately enter, update, organize, and maintain data across digital systems while ensuring information remains complete and reliable.
  • Manage digital documents, including filing, scanning, organizing, and maintaining electronic records.
  • Support routine administrative activities such as email correspondence, scheduling, customer inquiries, and internal communications.
  • Monitor and track office supplies, digital resources, and other administrative needs.
  • Perform data verification and quality checks to identify inconsistencies and maintain high standards of accuracy.
  • Provide remote administrative support to team members and assist with day-to-day operational tasks.
  • Handle sensitive information responsibly while maintaining appropriate confidentiality and data security.
  • For experienced professionals, develop and improve data management workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conduct more complex data analysis and reporting when required.
  • Support the onboarding, training, and mentoring of new team members in a remote environment.
  • Coordinate communications and administrative activities across departments and contribute to remote projects.
  • Help identify and implement improvements to remote-work processes, tools, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant professional experience is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy, particularly when handling large amounts of information.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and customers.
  • Comfortable using technology and willing to learn new software, digital systems, and remote collaboration tools.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of managing time and priorities effectively while working independently.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow appropriate procedures when handling sensitive information.
  • Entry-level candidates with 2+ years of relevant experience in remote data entry or administrative support are welcome.
  • Experienced candidates should demonstrate advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM platforms, project management tools, or comparable software.
  • Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
  • For more senior responsibilities, experience with data analysis, reporting, workflow optimization, remote team coordination, or employee mentoring is an advantage.
