Buyer – Rapids Reproductions (Cedar Rapids, IA)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Reports To: Controller / Operations Leadership

Position OverviewThe Buyer is responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating pricing, maintaining accurate inventory levels, coordinating stock transfers, and supporting the Accounts Payable workflow. This role ensures that materials are available when needed and that purchasing activity aligns with company standards and financial accuracy.
NetSuite experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities- Negotiate pricing, terms, and vendor agreements to ensure competitive rates and reliable supply.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, including monitoring stock, forecasting needs, and initiating replenishment.
- Process and manage stock transfers between locations.
- Enter and maintain purchasing and inventory data within NetSuite.
- Support Accounts Payable by posting invoices, verifying pricing, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Build and maintain positive vendor relationships.
- Monitor lead times, backorders, and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure materials meet quality and timeline expectations.
- Assist with continuous improvement of purchasing and inventory processes.

Requirements: Qualifications
- Prior purchasing, inventory, or supply chain experience preferred.
- NetSuite experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computers and business software systems.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
