PRN Caregiver Supervisor in Madison, Mississippi at GENESIS HOMECARE AGENCY

Pay: $20 per hour
Schedule: PRN with 10 guaranteed hours per week
Location: Central Mississippi, Ability to Travel is Required

Genesis Homecare Agency is seeking an experienced and dependable PRN Caregiver Supervisor to support our clients, caregivers, and community outreach efforts.

This position includes 10 guaranteed hours per week dedicated to marketing and community outreach. Additional hours will be scheduled as needed for caregiver coverage, supervisory visits, client assessments, caregiver handoffs, and new-case support.

This is not a full-time position, and hours beyond the guaranteed 10 hours will vary based on agency needs.

Marketing and Community Outreach

• Complete 10 scheduled marketing hours each week.
• Visit healthcare providers, senior communities, rehabilitation facilities, social workers, case managers, churches, and other referral sources.
• Attend approved networking events, health fairs, and community activities.
• Distribute agency marketing materials and introduce Genesis Homecare Agency’s services.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with referral partners.
• Track outreach visits, contacts, leads, referrals, and required follow-ups.
• Represent Genesis professionally throughout the community.

Client and Caregiver Supervision

• Complete scheduled supervisory and client satisfaction visits.
• Conduct nonclinical client assessments and intake visits.
• Participate in caregiver and client meet-and-greets.
• Review the client’s service plan, schedule, routines, preferences, and authorized duties with the assigned caregiver.
• Complete caregiver handoffs before or at the beginning of new cases.
• Follow up with clients and families after services begin.
• Report service concerns, changes in condition, caregiver performance issues, and client complaints to management.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for every visit.

PRN Caregiver Coverage

• Fill in when a scheduled caregiver calls out or coverage is unavailable.
• Help stabilize new cases until a permanent caregiver is assigned.
• Provide authorized assistance with personal care, activities of daily living, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and other approved services.
• Follow the client’s service plan and all Genesis policies.
• Clock in and out through AxisCare and complete required visit documentation.

• Previous CNA, PCA, caregiver, home care, or supervisory experience required.
• CNA certification is preferred.
• Experience with community outreach, healthcare marketing, or client relations is preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Must successfully complete all required background checks and health screenings.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance required.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible schedule.
• Must be willing and physically able to provide hands-on caregiver services.
• Must be available for some short-notice assignments, evenings, or weekends when needed.

• $20 per hour
• 10 guaranteed hours each week for scheduled marketing activities
• Additional PRN hours offered according to client coverage and operational needs
• Additional hours are not guaranteed
• All work must be scheduled or approved in advance
• Mileage reimbursement, if applicable, will follow agency policy
