US Signal also helps customers optimize their IT resources through the provision of managed services and professional services.

Are you ready to lead the projects that power the digital economy? US Signal is looking for a Data Center Construction Manager to drive our mission-critical infrastructure builds from the ground up. From the first shovel to final handoff.

As the Data Center Construction Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our newest and most ambitious data center projects. This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives on ownership, moves fast, and knows how to turn complex infrastructure builds into smooth, on-time delivery.

What you'll do

  • Partner with engineering through design and preconstruction, then take the wheel and lead execution all the way to construction completion.
  • Own the site permitting process for new and expanding data center locations, bringing your construction and market expertise to every site decision.
  • Drive power and utility procurement strategy, negotiating directly with utility providers to lock in the capacity our facilities and customers need.
  • Be the face of major construction projects for our customers, managing executive relationships and keeping contractors and subcontractors aligned on flawless delivery.
  • Lead the handoff from construction to operations, setting our facilities up for a seamless transition to the team that runs them.
  • Represent US Signal with customers, partners, and communities as we grow into new markets.
Requirements:

Communicates effectively with executive audiences, influences outcomes, and fosters strong relationships that support successful project delivery and long-term business growth.
  • Construction Program Leadership & Execution: Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and accountability in leading complex construction initiatives. Effectively manages competing priorities, drives results, mitigates risks, and ensures projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with business objectives.
  • Strategic Problem Solving & Infrastructure Planning: Applies sound judgment, business acumen, and technical understanding to navigate complex permitting, utility procurement, and construction challenges. Thrives in ambiguous environments and develops practical solutions that support operational readiness and future growth.
  • Demonstrated experience leading data center construction projects, including a strong understanding of power, cooling, and other critical infrastructure systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with utility coordination, power procurement, or infrastructure capacity planning for large-scale construction or development projects.
  • Experience building and managing executive-level customer relationships within construction, project delivery, account management, or client-facing environments.
  • Experience managing site permitting activities and working within land development, zoning, regulatory, or entitlement processes for commercial or industrial construction projects.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain insurability in accordance with company policy.
  • Ability to travel 25-35%, including minimum of 1 visit/month to each active construction site, varying by project need, to meet with general contractors, subcontractors, and customers.
  • Act Like an Owner: Accountability, Leadership, Business Acumen
  • Simplify: Problem Solving, Strategic Thinking
  • Stay Curious: Learning Agility, Innovation, Open-Mindedness

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, real estate, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience:

  • 4+ Years Experience managing large-scale construction projects, including direct experience with data center, mission-critical, or complex commercial construction environments

What We Offer:

In return for your hard work and commitment, you will enjoy a supportive and inclusive workplace, along with the following benefits:
