Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician

Reports To: Maintenance Manager

Primary Work Location: Rocky Mount, Virginia

Hours: 6:00AM – 3:30PM

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues using schematics and technical manuals
• Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters
• Maintain and update maintenance records using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Repair or replace components including high voltage electrical parts, low voltage controls, and HVAC/R systems
• Conduct inspections of machinery to identify potential failures or safety hazards
• Assist with field service activities and support manufacturing operations during production shifts
• Utilize field tools such as scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely and effectively
• Follow schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate repairs and installations
• Support technical sales teams by providing expertise on mechanical systems when needed

Skills

• Extensive experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing facilities
• Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding ( welding), and schematics interpretation
• Proficiency with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting
• Ability to operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely
• Familiarity with analysis tools for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues
• Excellent mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial mechanics and maintenance procedures
• Strong customer service orientation when collaborating with internal teams or external clients
• Effective communication skills in English for documentation and teamwork purposes
• Experience working in military environments or with industrial electrician backgrounds is a plus
