Technical Foundation Building Perform basic CAD drafting while developing capacity to learn complex technical material. Work independently with guidance while building strong communication skills.
Quality Development Execute assigned work within budget and schedule parameters while performing quality checks. Build foundational understanding of industrial design standards.
Professional Growth Support lead designers and engineers while developing technical skills in control systems electrical design group.
What You Bring
Must-Have Qualifications
- Technical Skills: AutoCAD 2010+ proficiency including workspace, drawing tools, layers, blocks, plotting
- Drafting Skills: Scales, drawing layout, lettering, high accuracy in copying
- Communication: Strong written, spoken, and personal format skills
- Work Ethic: Highly detail-oriented with strong self-driven motivation
- Physical: Industrial facility work, ladder climbing, stair climbing, PPE compliance
Essential Requirements
- Microsoft Office applications proficiency
- Team collaboration in both in-person and remote environments
- Willingness to travel to remote work sites occasionally
Preferred Qualifications
- A.A.S. or higher in engineering or related discipline
- Basic 3D software working knowledge
- Hands-on experience with Revit software is highly desirable

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to sit/stand, type, and perform computer work for long periods of time.
- Frequent use of hands/fingers for computer entry and answering calls.
- Able to perform occasional bending, lifting, and reaching.
- Must be able to lift 15 lbs if necessary.
- Visual acuity sufficient for reading documents, computer screens, and technical materials.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally in-person, by phone, and via video conferencing.
- Hearing ability adequate for meetings, presentations, and collaboration.
- Ability to concentrate and maintain attention for extended periods while managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends as business needs require.
- Able to travel to job sites (local and/or remote) as project needs require.
- Able to work in heavy industrial environments while wearing required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, fire-retardant clothing, gloves, etc.).
- Able to climb ladders, stairs, and work on elevated surfaces.
- Able to walk on uneven terrain and surfaces.
- May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and industrial environments during site visits.
