Job Summary:
The Warehouse Technician performs a variety of tasks within the Warehouse department at LINX including, but not limited to, receipt of all inbound freight, store inbound job material alongside existing material and other utility functions. The Warehouse Technician will work Mon – Fri 5:00AM – 1:00PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Validate all inbound materials to ensure they meet acceptance requirements
- Note all damages on the Bill of Lading, refuse damaged shipments and report them to procurement and Supervisor.
- Validate Bill of Ladings with purchase orders and piece counts.
- Confirm receipt of materials against packing lists and report any discrepancies.
- Receive Freight and Parcel in and out of our inventory system within 24 hours.
- Bin materials according to project specifications.
- Scan and record serial numbers on electronic equipment in the inventory system.
- Place asset tag on electronic equipment and record in the inventory system.
- Maintain an organized filing system.
- Stage materials according to a Project Pick List for field pick up.
- Stage consumable items for field pick up
- Arrange deliveries to job sites
- Create shipping documents for outbound shipments
- Make deliveries in a company-provided vehicle
- Other duties assigned as necessary.
Minimum Requirements
Must be familiar with operating warehouse equipment (pallet jack/forklifts or other heavy equipment)
Able to communicate with Project Managers on incoming material as well as notify procurement on missing/damaged product
Read and write routine reports and correspondence
Speak effectively with all levels of the organization
Maintain a professional relationship in phone, email, and written correspondence with individuals within and outside of the company
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to solve problems involving several variables in standardized situations
Accurately input information into our Warehouse Management System and maintain electronic and paper files
Able to lift 5 to 50lbs
Able to Wrap pallets and appropriately stack material on them
Able to keep job material together on shelves and pallet locations
Able to be a team player
High School or equivalent education
Preferred Experience (not required)
Preferred two years’ experience working within warehousing distribution industry.
Experience in MS Office, Outlook, Word & Excel is a plus or able to learn software for data entry and report usage.
Forklift Experience is a Plus.
Clean driving record required for use of company vehicles for deliveries.
Pay Range:
$25.00-28.00/hour
