This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a ServiceNow Application Developer / Programmer Senior based in the United States.
This senior-level role will drive the implementation and ongoing management of ServiceNow solutions supporting hardware and software asset management.
You will help modernize technology operations by improving inventory visibility, control, and asset governance across a mission-focused environment.
The position combines hands-on ServiceNow development and administration with collaboration across technical teams and stakeholders.
You will contribute to Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) capabilities.
The role also offers the opportunity to apply Azure technologies and solve complex technology-management challenges.
You’ll work remotely alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment where technical expertise directly supports meaningful public-sector outcomes.
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) capabilities.
- Translate stakeholder needs into effective ServiceNow solutions, collaborating with technical teams and program stakeholders to capture, clarify, and deliver requirements.
- Support inventory management and asset control initiatives, improving visibility, accuracy, governance, and lifecycle management.
- Administer and implement ServiceNow platform capabilities while ensuring solutions align with operational and mission requirements.
- Apply ServiceNow and Azure technologies to support integrations, workflows, asset-management processes, and broader technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot challenges, resolve technical issues, and ensure successful implementation outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of platform capabilities, processes, and technology-management practices.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the development, implementation, and ongoing operation of ServiceNow solutions.
- 8+ years of related professional experience in software engineering, application development, or a comparable technical field.
- Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow administration and implementation, including the ability to configure and manage ServiceNow platform capabilities.
- Practical expertise with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, and/or Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) solutions.
- Experience supporting inventory management, asset tracking, and technology-control processes.
- Familiarity with Azure technologies and cloud-based environments.
- Technical training, relevant certifications, or a degree in a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate business and technical requirements into effective solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, and customers.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while contributing effectively to broader team objectives.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a BI Full 6C (T4) Public Trust designation as required for the position.
- Salary: Expected range of $136,000–$184,000 annually, with final compensation based on experience, geographic location, and applicable contractual considerations.
- Work arrangement: Fully remote position within the United States.
- Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.
- Travel: No travel required.
