Job Description:
Position Summary
Support USARCENT G1 personnel plans, operations, policy execution, staff actions, and readiness visibility. Manage assigned actions as controlled cases from receipt through validation, coordination, completion, and documented closure.
Primary Responsibilities
Receive, review, prioritize, and track personnel plans, readiness, policy, and staff-action requirements.
Validate source documentation and data before processing or coordinating personnel actions.
Prepare clear staffing products, reports, briefings, correspondence, trackers, and recommendations.
Coordinate actions with supported offices and resolve discrepancies while protecting personnel information.
Maintain suspense visibility, audit-ready records, and evidence of completed actions.
Identify risks to personnel readiness or deadlines and elevate them with recommended corrective action.
Government-Stated Conditions
Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance. The Government recommends an active clearance at hire.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card, installation access, and required Government system/network access; performance cannot begin while required access is pending.
Must read, write, speak, and understand English and maintain professional conduct and appearance.
Must use Government-furnished equipment and authorized systems for performance; unauthorized personal devices or removable media are prohibited on Government networks.
Must complete required security, cyber/IA, OPSEC, antiterrorism, iWATCH, and local training. Possible CONUS or OCONUS travel may be designated after award.
Requirements:
Five or more years of military or DoD civilian human-resources, personnel-readiness, or G1 staff experience.
Experience researching and applying personnel policies, managing staff actions, and producing senior-leader reports or briefings.
Experience with Army personnel/readiness systems relevant to the assigned work; candidates should identify specific systems on the resume.
Strong data-quality, records-management, writing, and customer-support skills.
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, public administration, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
