Are you passionate about cooking and ready to showcase your skills at weddings, celebrations, business functions, and other special events? Join our culinary team as a Full-Time Banquet Cook and help create memorable dining experiences for every guest.
We are looking for a dependable and motivated culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, values teamwork, and takes pride in preparing high-quality food.
What You’ll Do- Prepare and cook banquet menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and event specifications.
- Review banquet event orders and assist with preparing the correct quantities for each function.
- Coordinate with chefs and culinary team members to ensure food is prepared and served on time.
- Maintain consistent standards for food quality, flavor, portion size, and presentation.
- Accommodate allergies, special dietary needs, and customized meal requests.
- Assist with banquet plating, service preparation, and event breakdown.
- Properly label, date, rotate, and store food products.
- Monitor ingredients and notify leadership when supplies need to be ordered.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly sanitized workstations.
- Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety requirements.
- Support other areas of the kitchen as operational needs require.
- Previous experience as a banquet cook, line cook, or in a similar culinary position.
- Strong food-preparation and cooking skills.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling practices.
- Ability to follow recipes, banquet event orders, and production timelines.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and presentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and carry kitchen supplies.
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Culinary education, certification, or relevant training is preferred.
