This position is located in Denver, Colorado and has a Monday through Friday, 7am – 3:30pm work schedule.
Position Overview:
The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transfer of materials and finished goods between the production facility and logistics warehouse. This role supports daily warehouse operations, including inventory organization, storage, material movement, and accurate data entry into the company’s ERP system. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate company transfer truck in accordance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Establish, implement and maintain the safe efficient transfer of company products between warehouses.
- Load, secure, transport and unload materials in preparation for transfer, verifying quantities and materials against transfer documentation.
- Enter and maintain transferred inventory in Chempax, removing from inventory and receiving into overflow warehouse.
- Load and unload truck with forklift.
- Maintain company vehicle by scheduling preventative maintenance services and arranging for repairs.
- Follow established procedures for the handling and storage of chemicals, raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Ensure safety by informing others when an unsafe condition or activity exists.
- Attend and be an active participant at all Shipping & Receiving meetings.
- Promote an incident free workplace by complying with safety policies and procedures and participate in company safety trainings.
- Work at multiple locations as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE:
- Goal oriented, able to work under pressure, prioritize and multitask
- Possess a strong commitment to safe and responsible driving practices; consistently follows all traffic laws, company driving policies, and applicable transportation regulations
- Ability to work independently
- Adhering to safety practices with ability to safely lift, move, and handle hazardous materials
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with Production, Warehouse, Logistics, and other company personnel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - 1+ yrs of tractor trailer driving experience
- High school diploma
- Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement
- Previous experience transporting hazardous materials
- Valid driver’s license/ Clean MVR
- DOT Medical card
- Forklift experience required
- Must have basic math skills.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel
- Must have good organization skills.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Lifting required of up to 50lbs unassisted and over 50lbs with lifting aides
- Continuous reaching/working overhead
- Frequently stands, walks, sits, climbs, pushes, pulls, and carry items
- Work environment subject to seasonal temperature variations
