CNC Operators operate, set up, adjust, program, and troubleshoot CNC machines and tooling in a fast-paced environment, ensuring machines run smoothly, work at capacity without issue, and are appropriately maintained. At Level 2, You will:
- Gauge parts and read blueprintsRecognize when an insert/product goes out of tolerance, stop process, and change insertsFollow check sheets and using measurement instruments to verify parts are manufactured to customer specificationsMachine parts to printLoad feed mechanism and change inserts when necessaryCross train other team members on CNC machine operationsMaintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance, following manufacturer's operating instructions, and maintaining gears with way lubeTroubleshoot equipment malfunctions and escalating issue as neededMaintain housekeeping and 5S in the work areaCollect and remove recyclable chips and shavings and transports to reclaiming areaMaintaining all documentation as required

Required Qualifications:
- 1 – 2 Year of Previous CNC Operator experience or successful performance as a Fisher Barton CNC Operator Level 1Able to use measurement instruments such as: caliper, height gage, micrometer Basic Math skillsBasic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent2+ years of CNC experienceExperience with trouble-shooting machinesExperience using special micrometers and gauges
Physical | Visual Demands:
- Ability to stand 8-12 hours a dayAbility to sit, stand, squat and bendReach overhead with one or both armsRepetitive movement of lifting and placing parts on machines / up to 15 poundsAbility to occasionally lift up to 50 poundsAbility to occasionally push/pull up to 75 pounds

Work Environment:

Work Location: 210 Business Park Drive, Sun Prairie, WI 53590
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday through Thursday 5:00AM – 3:00PM, Friday overtime as needed based on company needs
