This role is a high-impact field sales position focused on driving profitable growth across a defined geographic territory within industrial lubrication solutions. You will be responsible for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and managing a complex sales pipeline from prospecting through close. Operating at the intersection of technical sales and relationship management, you will work closely with internal teams to ensure customer success and operational alignment. The role requires a strong hunter mindset, commercial discipline, and the ability to balance long-term strategy with day-to-day execution. You will play a key part in strengthening customer partnerships while identifying new market opportunities in a competitive industrial environment. This is a dynamic, travel-heavy role suited for a results-driven sales professional who thrives on autonomy and measurable impact.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering consistent revenue and margin growth across your assigned territory by building strong customer relationships and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline. You will balance new business development with account management while ensuring excellent customer experience and operational execution. Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving year-over-year sales growth through customer acquisition, retention, and expansion within the assigned territory.
  • Developing and executing structured business plans aligned with regional sales objectives.
  • Identifying, qualifying, and converting new leads through proactive prospecting and cold outreach.
  • Managing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools and disciplined forecasting practices.
  • Supporting existing customers by responding to inquiries related to orders, inventory, pricing, and technical requirements.
  • Collaborating with internal teams (product, customer solutions, supply chain) to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to uncover new opportunities.
Requirements

This role requires a strong background in field sales with a proven ability to generate new business and manage complex customer relationships in a technical or industrial environment. You will bring a competitive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced territory-based role. Key qualifications include:

  • 4–6+ years of successful field sales experience, preferably in lubrication, industrial, or technical product sales.
  • Proven track record of winning new business and consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong prospecting skills, including cold calling and lead generation.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to understand mechanical or industrial applications.
  • Experience using CRM tools and managing structured sales pipelines.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (50%+ domestic travel).
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary with additional performance-based incentive compensation.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with strong employer matching contributions.
  • Generous paid time off and 13 paid holidays annually.
  • Flexible work arrangements with remote field-based structure.
  • Tuition reimbursement and employee development programs.
  • Access to wellness, family support, and employee assistance programs.
  • Additional perks including insurance options, discounts, and well-being benefits.
